Call it a "Sinner Circle"
Etienne Sin/Inner Circle => Sinner Circle, get it? LOL!
It's overwelming to see that between all the socialmedia sites, I gathered thousands upon thousands of online friends, followers and subscribers. What does it all mean? Are you really my friend? A lot of you are sending me messages of support & encouragement but most of you I just never hear from. Check your own socialmedia site(s), are all those people really your friends? Would you go out of your way for them or they for you? Do they really care about you? Would you let them spent the night on your couch if they were in a jam? Or is it just a way to keep score in this fast moving ,fast paced world? For this new year 2011 I wanted CHANGE! Don't just be a number!
I rather have 500 people who I have a real connection and can build a real relationship with, than 50.000 fictitious friends that are just a number on my social media network. So for this year 2011 I invite you to become a "Sinner" & get involved, out with the old in with the new.For the new year I've added the words "building a circle of friends" to my tagline. And re-christened our bi-monthly newsletter "the Sinner Circle"
Now it reads "Etienne Sin the leader of Post Hardcore music, building a circle of friends". A circle of "Sinners" ,real fanfriends & performers that are all connected by our music, the entertainment we provide and would help each other out in every way they can.
I am spending my life to create you new, exciting music every month & bring you entertainment in the form of collaborations & joint ventures. You don't have to let me sleep on your couch but If you have found overwhelming value, there are various ways you my Fanfriend, can " Give Back" & offer me support in return by
Purchasing all my products that I have for sale as they become available eg: Cd's ,Downloads, t-shirts, hats ,etc. AND become an "Army of One" & help spread the word about Etienne Sin's music and our "Circle of Friends"

~ January 31st, 2012 Newsletter ~
Where the hell has Etienne Sin been? Not in jail, but he did disappear for a little while to get his music stuff together for the year 2012. I have some really big stuff coming up this year, so keep reading!
I’ll be moving to a different part of New York within the next month, I’ll be a bit busy packing all of my things. My audio studio, film production gear, and T-Shirt printing press all has to go. It’s going to be a daunting process indeed, so all I ask is for everyone to be patient, because I am still releasing things each month.
First things first, the Dubstep song is finally out! It’s by German Dub producer named Jan Benkwitz, featuring myself. I called it “The Dreamscape Project” due to its very atmospheric sound and timeless lyricism. The music video is strictly about Dreams, and it’s starring my cousin Ace (you know, the guy who plays the synth in my music videos!). You can watch this new production “here”.
Keep it locked for more Dubstep by Jan Benkwitz with harder drops, better sounds, and of course featuring Etienne Sin!
So other than Dubstep music, I’ve been returning to Post-Hardcore with an aggression that I haven’t experienced since 2010! I’m in the studio creating a new sound for Etienne Sin, and it sounds more modern, dark, and technically superior to my other works. Expect a bunch of screaming, better melodies, and heavier instrumentals!
Speaking of a new sound, I have some good news for my upcoming music. I got the current singer fromA Skylit Drive, Michael “Jag” Jagmin, to guest appear in my next Post-Hardcore song! I am currently putting together a Behind The Scenes for this song and it will be out by the next newsletter. I will show you guys how I put together the song, as well as a section with Jag singing the track in studio!
Unfortunately, he won’t be making an appearance in the music video for the song due to us having a great distance between California and New York. The song will still be bangin though, so stay tuned!
Quick little note before I end this letter; keep in touch with my youtube because I’ll also be releasing some modern popular covers from your favorite bands like Woe, Is Me, Motionless In White, Sleeping With Sirens, and many more!
See you guys soon!

PS: Help me out! Forward the new song “The Dreamscape Project” to your friends, especially if they are into Dubstep!

~December 7th newsletter~
Awesome weather here in New York! We've been running about 62F (16 Celcius) over a week now.Which is like 10 degrees F above average. But yeah a little rainy but, I'll take that any day over snow.
The "Moshing Pit" launch was a success! in the first week I sold a couple of hundred $$ worth. I would like to thank those who supported and made a purchase.
Because I had no merch available at all, I started the brand with a "Etienne Sin bandshirt" design and followed up with a "Etienne SinnerCircle fanfriends" design.Because of the pending weather I also introduced long sleeves "Click it & Check it"
Last week I released another new Etienne Sin & Jordan Blake collaboration, called "Sanguine Greed" Check it if you haven't already. Some rap, some c-walk, some head bangin. A real fun, not too serious type of vid and song.
As you already know I share the attention I'm getting from you with other musicians all over the nation and all over the world. It's kinda fun, different musical styles and all. Earlier this year I did a collaboration with a multi-instrumentalist from Germany called Jan Benkwitz .
Jan is a beast on drums and played with/for international, world renound bands like Belphegor, Absentia Lunae, Cease of Breeding, Antares Predator, The Black Dahlia Murder and many others. I am happy to announce that we are in the middle of doing another collaboration , it's very experimental, we're shooting a video and I will bring you the "bangin" track later this month. I'll give you a hint, think "Skrillix"
I started broadcasting my studio rehearsals with Xumanii a couple of weeks ago. BUT what the hell happened? I got it working OK and.....they changed their dashboard and I couldn't broadcast anymore for the past 2 weeks.
So the sad news is that the live broadcasts are suspended until they figure it out at Xumanii. I'll keep you posted :(
Social media sites like Xumani, Facebook etc. are cool but I don't trust them after MySpace and would not maintain a fanbase through them ever. It's way too easy to befriend, subscribe, follow etc. somebody. Real shallow I think. My "Murder of Sinners" is not that large but everyone has my music on their computer or i-pod.
That's it for today, Iv'e got a mountain of work.Be here in 2 weeks because I will.
